Gratitude challenge T is for Television

This is sure to be a it divisive. Television - you either love it or think that kids are getting brainwashed by it!
I'll be honest - most days the only reason I get to have my morning coffee in peace is because of Mike the Knight. Play school is when I get my messages done. Sesame Street is when I can write. And so on.

And if TV isn't looking after my children then I'm using it as an escape. My chance to enter a world where no-one used my expensive perfume to "clean the sink" or put nappy rash cream in their hair so they could pretend to be ghosts and scare me.
Yes...TV will rot our brains...but I'm still grateful for the moments of peace it brings to my life!
Just not grateful enough to let my partner by a big screen!!
What is the gratitude challenge?
I set myself this challenge as a way of maintaining some mindfulness and gratitude, but also to help me take time each and every day to focus on my writing.
I would welcome anyone else who wants to join the challenge. The rules are simple: Start at a and work your way through to z. You must do one each day, include a photo and they must be at least 2 paragraphs - after all the idea is to work on your writing not just your gratefulness.
